Pica’s career kicked off as a script editor for Fandango, a nationally recognized production company in Italy, where he reviewed and edited scripts, as well as supported on some of the company’s productions. By 2007, Pica saw an opportunity to move to Australia, where he enrolled at Griffith University, one of the country’s top film schools, to earn his M.F.A.

Pica’s film portfolio quickly grew. By 2016, he relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where he began working with some of Hollywood’s biggest artists including American singer, actress, and television personality Kelly Rowland, and R&B artist Eric Bellinger.
